Details
Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectroscopy (GD-OES) is an analytical technique used to determine the chemical composition of elements in materials by referencing a standard calibration curve, ensuring high accuracy in element quantification.
Additionally, it enables the analysis of the chemical composition profile of thin films, measuring from the surface to the interior of the sample through layer-by-layer sputtering of argon gas atoms. This technique also allows for the measurement of thin film thickness
Main Feature
- Bulk Analysis (Li-U)
- Depth Profile analysis (nm layer to µm)
Sample Analysis Services
- Analytical Services: Bulk analysis and depth profile analysis
- Material Analysis: Analysis of both conductive and non-conductive samples (e.g., ferrous, non-ferrous, ceramics)
- Sample type: Sample must be dry and flat sample
Usage Limitations
- Analysis area Ø 2, 4, 7 mm
- Sample diameter more than 20 x 20 mm (width x height)."
